100% Raw Foodist – Day 29

Today is a very simple day.

BREAKFAST

Since today was a simple day, I preferred a very simple smoothie with only fruits and greens. No extra anything.

Green Smoothie Recipe

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 pink lady apple
  • 1 whole valencia orange
  • 1 juice of valencia orange
  • 1/2 bunch kale
  • 1-2 cups water

You know what to do. Just put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooooooth. Yum!

LUNCH

The now famous Raw Revolution Organic Live Food Bar! I enjoyed the Chocolate and Cashew flavor. YUM… my new favorite.

DINNER

Keeping with the very simple and light menu for today, Katrina made a most wonderful praline-type mylk. Ahhhhh, it was out of this world delicious. Very yummy, light and fresh. Better than any milk I’ve ever had.

Katrina’s Praline Mylk

  • 1/2 cup raw pecans
  • 1/4 cup dates
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • dash cinnamon
  • dash salt
  • 5 cups water

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If you are not using a high speed blender like a Vita-Mix, I’d highly suggest straining the liquid so the pecans don’t ruin the smoothness of the drink. If you’re using a Vita-Mix, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. We used a Vita-Mix and just drank it as is. YUM!!!!!
